About me

Hello, I am thrilled to have you here on my blog!  I have been a dental hygienist for over 25 years.  However, my true passion has been general health and fitness.  Having had a child that was sensitive to chemicals at a very young age and learning how to cook for other family members with food allergies and sensitivities lead me down the path of researching chemical free products and healthy food alternatives.  This ignited my passion for healthy living and the journey continues after 18 years!  Watching family members battle with cancer and struggle with other health challenges, such as diabetes, broadened my journey to search for ways to enhance quality and quantity of life through a healthy lifestyle, including optimal nutrition, exercise and detox.  I am eager to share my knowledge and experiences with you.

What you can expect

Most of the time, I will publish one Blog post a week.  These Blog posts will cover topics in general health, exercise, healing methods or modalities, and nutrition.  Once in awhile I may also post a recipe that is a staple in my kitchen.  As you can see, there is a resource page.  I will post a variety of products that I love and use regularly along with maybe some good books that I find.  This will evolve as time goes by.
